The school holidays, at last! All Saints’ Day is appreciated by children and parents alike. These are indeed the first holidays after the start of the new school year, and so many leisure activities in Paris and throughout the provinces await you. The sunshine is not always guaranteed at this time of year, which is why the Sextant team has selected adventures that are mainly indoors. Here is our top 5 in Paris and the surrounding area, let’s go!
1 – New exhibition at the Cité des Sciences: What’s New in the Middle Ages?
There’s no need to introduce the Cité des Sciences; it’s a classic for children and adults in Paris. You knew about besieged castles, knights rescuing distressed princesses, plague epidemics, but this long period in our history still hides many treasures. With plenty of recent archaeological discoveries, this exhibition is our first choice!
2 – Species of Bears! At the Natural History Museum
Another exhibition, but like the Middle Ages one, this has just opened! It explores the wild world and solitary life of bears. With 8 species still alive on Earth, the museum has collected hundreds of objects. It also covers various topics such as the relationship between humans and this incredible animal. We love it!
3 – The Smurfs at the Folies Bergère
Who would have thought? The famous comic book, TV and cinema heroes now have their own musical spectacle. At the Folies Bergère, if you please!! A must-see family outing, everyone will appreciate it. Otherwise, to reserve, everything is here!
4 – Halloween Festival at the Maison Pêche et Nature (Ile de la Jatte)
On the most frightening day of the year, all leisure parks dress up in pumpkin colours. We have chosen the Festival at the Maison Pêche et Nature in Levallois. They have captured the original spirit of this ancestral celebration, it is our favourite.
5 – Halloween Family Brunch at the Pullman Paris Bercy
Not everyone is on holiday, which is why we have finally selected a Sunday lunch for the whole family near Bercy at the famous Pullman hotel. Indeed, the team is organising a brunch in Halloween colours this Sunday. Come in fancy dress, a team will be there to apply your makeup! Online reservations recommended!
Needless to say, these holidays will be fun, so enjoy them!
