What if we visited… the Paris sewers!

Surprising but true, the Paris city council organises from 3 May to 30 August 2017, every Wednesday afternoon, a public visit to the Paris sewers. A route open to children aged 8 to 16, and their parents. Educational, the visit will allow discovery of the functioning of the water cycle in the capital. Discover coral reefs at the Paris Aquarium

Since 25 March and until 30 September next year, the Paris Aquarium devotes an exhibition to coral reefs. Essential to ocean biodiversity, corals are fundamental for the preservation of marine species. This lovely exhibition presents 79 species of coral, and educates children and adults alike on the protection of our environment and the consequences of global warming. Don’t wait!

Go see wild animals in the heart of Paris at the zoo in the Jardin des Plantes

Nestled next to the Natural History Museum, and a few minutes from Austerlitz station, the menagerie is home to some 1,200 animals… Red pandas, orang-utans or Chinese panthers, some 200 species are present! Impressive for its history, the menagerie is one of the oldest zoos in the world and opened in 1794. Its listed historic buildings add a certain charm to this visit. Take a look at the Reptile Gallery and the Great Aviary before admiring the Art Deco style building of the Menagerie.
