In this summer month, we spend long days in the sun, and it is hot. In these 3 months of summer, everyone needs to relax in a pool, whatever their type.

Without thinking too much, you can get the pool this summer according to your taste and budget. If you have the opportunity to install one at home, there is nothing better, and now is the ideal time to get a clearer picture of 2019 pool trends. There are three essential elements that can work together to make you feel confident that you have chosen your ideal pool: Luxury, design and aesthetics.

We have not forgotten that the choice of a pool will depend on the exact space you have and your budget. When we think about the idea of having a swimming pool, we make a direct link with luxury and wealth. However, this is not always the case, you can have a pool according to your means, knowing that in recent years, the price of installing pools has decreased, and it is now affordable and reasonable for more people, so that in France there are more than 2.5 million private pools!

Here are the different types of ideal pools:

If you still feel the need or desire to relax your muscles at any time of the day at home with family or friends, it’s perfect! There is something for everyone’s taste:

I. Semi-inground or in-ground pools:

We all think that any beautiful swimming pool can only be buried, or semi-buried, since we still have the idea that it is valuable and much better valued than others.

Concerning in-ground pools, there are several types: The Polyester pool or “shell” pool: It is simply a pool that is made of these materials: fiberglass and resin, and manufactured completely at the factory. For installation, there is nothing simpler, because all you have to do is dig and remove the hull. There are different forms to satisfy all the needs of each person, or each target. Nothing could be simpler as a solution, which is ultimately economical for this type of ( underground) pool.

The concrete pool: it is a type of pool that will provide waterproofing and structure. This type of pool can be used to design any desired shape.

The liner masonry pool: a pool made of cinder blocks or concrete whose impermeability is guaranteed by a PVC membrane called a liner.

The liner panel pool: the walls are made of pre-constructed panels made of steel, concrete or resin, which will facilitate manufacturing at a low cost. The floor is made of reinforced concrete. Once again, waterproofing is guaranteed by a liner. The bottom of the pool is often made of reinforced concrete.

These types of pools are ideal if you already have a completely flat area at home. If the ground is rather sloping, the semi underground pool will this time be easy to set up. Often, the latter is made of wood.

If this type of swimming pool has as its strong point the aesthetic side and gives more value to a house, it should not be forgotten that they have constraints:

The budget: for this type of pool, the budget is generally substantial. The price starts at 10,000 euros, and can increase more and more depending on the characteristics, equipment, and shapes and tastes of everyone.

The steps: Swimming pool models larger than 10 m² will require a work permit, and will also require a building permit. This will depend on the municipalities, so it is necessary to check with the town hall before starting the work. A development tax may be claimed. Inground pools are accounted for as house annexes. There may be an upward impact on property and housing taxes, as they are considered as an improvement of the building as well as its rental value.

Finally, since 2004, the law has required all owners of in-ground pools to equip them with equipment that is secure: a protective barrier or pool fence, an alarm, a secure pool cover or a shelter. This will obviously generate additional costs.

II. Above-ground pools:

In recent years, we have noticed that aboveground pools are more and more common in many homes. There too, we find different types of pools:

The inflatable pool: it is the most used pool every summer, because its price is very reasonable, and everyone can afford this type of pool to cool off. Efficient and easy to set up, since all you need to do is inflate and fill the bladder. It generally does not exceed 1.25 m in height and 6 m in diagonal. This type of pool is still small enough to swim well.

The tubular pool: it is relatively more expensive than the inflatable pool, the tubular pool is also more solid. A huge PVC or polyester “pocket”, the liner, forms the pool. If the height of this pool does not exceed 1.30 m, its length, on the other hand, can reach 10m, which makes it possible to accommodate several people to spend a pleasant moment, and to swim in a comfortable and comfortable way.

Wooden swimming pools: they are often made of autoclaved pine or exotic wood, this type of pool lasts a long time, has a very nice aesthetic side and is also very strong. No fear of damage. It is often octagonal or hexagonal in shape, it can be slightly buried to develop stability.

The steel pool: It consists of a structure of walls in corrosion-resistant painted steel and steel, its stability is guaranteed by steel struts and coping posts.

These pools are generally very easy to install, although it is necessary to plan a few days for steel or wooden pools. Their height must not exceed 1.30 m. However, they do not need any administrative procedures. Some large models require installation on a concrete slab. For the slab, a work authorization may possibly be possible to do. It again depends on the municipalities. Another advantage: these above-ground pools are not subject to tax or the obligation of safety equipment. The pool can also be dismantled.

Which model should be chosen?

There are no good or bad choices to choose the pool you want. The choice is yours, and it depends only on your taste, your preferences and your budget. And the pool in question must meet your expectations and needs.
