9th arrondissement of Paris

Paris 9th district is one of the smallest in Paris. However, it is particularly well-served, as there are nineteen metro stations within its borders. Culture-wise there is also plenty to see, thanks to the presence of the Opéra Garnier, the place de l’Opéra, theatres and cinemas. The Hotel Drouot also attracts numerous visitors.
The district is dived into four main areas:

  • Quartier Saint-Georges (North West)
  • Quartier de la Chaussée-d’Antin (South West)
  • Quartier du Faubourg-Montmartre (South East)
  • Quartier de Rochechouart (North East)

There are several beautiful neoclassical churches in the district, including the Église de la Sainte-Trinité de Paris, Église Notre-Dame-de-Lorette, and the Église Saint-Eugène-Sainte-Cécile. As mentioned, the arrondissement offers numerous cultural places of interest in terms, the most famous being:

Cafes & Restaurants
